The Old Mill Wedding Venue in Aldermaston

During our first meeting at the old mill, the explained they would like a low maintenance patio/entertaining area they could use to hold wedding ceremonies/receptions whilst in keeping with the lovely old buildings on the estate.

We installed 185m2 of Marshalls porcelain mixed size patio with a gazebo and bespoke bar/serving area. we also installed raised sleeper beds (ready for planting by the on site gardener) around the perimeter of the patio with disabled access openings.

We compacted around 80 ton of type 1 mot on top of a ground stabilisation sheet in 75mm layers to ensure good compassion, the paving was then installed on a 40mm bed of concrete.
